A Wi‑Fi QR code is a simple way to let customers or visitors connect without giving out your password on paper.

What is a Wi‑Fi QR code?

A Wi‑Fi QR code stores your network name and password in a special format. When somebody scans it with their camera, their device offers to join the network automatically.

How to build one with Scanify

  1. Find your Wi‑Fi network name (SSID) and password.
  2. Use a format like: WIFI:T:WPA;S:YourNetwork;P:YourPassword;;
  3. Paste that text into the content field on the Scanify generator.
  4. Generate the QR and print it near your reception desk, tables or meeting rooms.

For security, avoid using your main private network. Instead, create a guest network with limited access, and change the password from time to time.
